River Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented MARKETING REPRESENTATIVE in the BATON ROUGE Area to provide Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service activities within the Marketing Department; to achieve optimal utilization of River Oaks’ continuum of care by developing and maintaining direct referral relationships in designated market(s); to assess the needs of the customer and making the required number of marketing contacts to each account, in order to develop and maintain a long-term referral relationship which will generate a continuous flow of admissions to meet hospital census objectives. To plan events, provide tours, perform referral source inservices, act as a liaison between the Referral Source and the hospital, and seeks out new business development opportunities for the hospital.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Marketing or Human Services field.
• Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.
• Must demonstrate knowledge and skill in provision of services to a varied population including children, adolescents, adults, older adults and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient and partial hospital setting.
• Must have good computer skills, organizational skills and the ability to set priorities;
• Candidate must have excellent communication skills; the ability to work with all levels of people and do so in a pleasant, customer service manner.
